Great American Trailer Park at Bruka theatre in Reno.

Bruka in Reno

Reno is an art town. How many times have you heard that? I must have heard and read about it at least 100 times. But what does art mean? To me, art is art galleries, museums, festivals, music, and, of course, theatre (!). And Reno does have a very good one.

Bruka is located in the center of Reno art district – on the corner of First and Virginia. It is small, but very cozy.  You are lucky to get a ticket at the door right before the show, as tickets are sold out well in advance.

Yesterday I saw a hilariously funny musical “Great American Trailer Park”.  It has everything from a fake-pregnancy teenager to a cheating family drama, from a marker-sniffing addict to a cat road kill.  The show will be going through the middle of June, so you still have time. Check www.bruka.org to learn how to get tickets.

Get yourself a great art night in Reno, which is an art town!
